City makes changes to recreation, camp registration process

It’s almost time to register for spring recreation programs and summer camps and this year, the City of Mississauga is making changes to the registration process to make it easier and more convenient for residents.

For starters, registration will now be seasonal, with four different registration periods each year.

Spring programming and summer camp online registration begins on Feb. 18, at the new time of 7am. The previous time of 6am has proven very unpopular with residents.

The city recommends registrants create and/or update an Active Mississauga account, input your payment information and bookmark preferred programs beginning on Feb. 11 to be preferred in advance to register for the following week. Registration is first come, first served and spaces for all programs are limited.

In-person registration is also available at 7am on Feb. 18 at recreation centres and payment by cash, debit or credit will be accepted.
