Canada Day downtown road closures

A number of streets in the Mississauga downtown core will be closed on and around July 1 for Canada Day festivities. Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead and know what to expect.

The Living Arts Centre, the Civic Centre and Celebration Square all have streets closed on Canada Day. Mercer Street is closed from June 30 to July 2.

Square One mall will be inaccessible by vehicle from the south and west, but the north and easy entry points to the mall will remain open throughout the day.

The stretch of Burnhamthorpe Road from Confederation Parkway to Hurontario Road will be closed on the evening of Canada Day.

The City has provided a map that outlines the timing of the road closures.
