The Nareg Armenian Education and Cultural Centre on Consumers Road had its grand opening celebration at the end of September. “For more than half a century, Armenian Canadians have made important contributions to Ontario’s social, cultural, educational, entrepreneurial, and civic life,” said Scarborough MPP Aris Babikian. “This new Centre will help carry that proud legacy forward while creating a place where young people can learn, families can connect, and Armenian culture and traditions can flourish.”
