The 27th Annual Tim Hortons Southside Shuffle Blues &Jazz Festival

The 27th Annual Tim Hortons Southside Shuffle Blues & Jazz Festival has unveiled its full Main Stage lineup for this year’s event, taking place September 5 to 7 in Port Credit, Mississauga. This year’s lineup places an exciting emphasis on Canadian talent with musical influences that span across the globe, with a fantastic mix of free and ticketed programming.

Stage, and In the Clubs series. The park is fully licensed and packed with food vendors, an artisan market, two free stages, and one ticketed stage, drawing thousands of music lovers each day.

Friday’s Main Stage headliner, proudly presented exclusively by Visit Mississauga, will feature Canada’s The Sheepdogs, from Saskatoon. Known for their fusion of rock’n’roll, roots, and blues, The Sheepdogs have earned multiple Juno Awards, multi-platinum albums, and a string of hit singles.

Saturday’s headliner is multi-award-winning, multi-hit Big Sugar, one of Canada’s top-selling bands for decades. Their eclectic sound blends blues, reggae, funk, and Latin grooves, earning them both gold and platinum albums.

Also featured on the main stage are multi-award-winning artist Tom Wilson, Grammy nominee Steve Strongman and 2025 JUNO nominee blues guitarist David Gogo, along with other acclaimed and award-winning acts including the David Rotundo Band, Ira Walker, Miss Emily (unplugged), the Pappy Johns Band featuring Joshua Arden Miller and In Spite of Ourselves: A Tribute to John Prine.

Closing the festival as Sunday’s Main Stage headliner proudly presented by Rama Gaming House are the Hogtown AllStars Extra Large, built with some of the most experienced players in the global blues music industry. The lineup includes five Downchild Blues Band alumni – Chuck Jackson, Pat Carey, Gary Kendall, Jim Casson and Tyler Yarema – plus Maple Blues Band alumni Teddy Leonard and Howard Moore. This special Extra Large edition adds Alison Young to form an expanded horn section with Carey and Moore, and features powerhouse backup singers Cheryl Lescom and Quisha Wint, who will also take some lead vocals.

The LIUNA Local 183 Street Shuffle will return, bringing more free live music to the street along Lakeshore Road on Saturday afternoon from 1 to 5 PM. The entire village of Port Credit participates, with even more bands performing in local clubs and restaurants. Memorial Park is fully licensed and includes food vendors and an artisan market.

Rama Gaming House will be onsite in the vendor area with contests throughout the weekend and presenting the Latin band Duende on the festival’s World Stage on Saturday. Amica Credit Mills will be presenting Loco Zydeco with Chuck Jackson, Cheryl Lescom and Pat Carey, Delta Fuse, and Frankie Foo & The YoYo Smugglers. Additional free concerts on the World Stage include Jay Douglas & The Allstars, Swamperella, Boomerang, ASD Band, Isy Aboagye, and J.E. Lopez.

The free Queen Bea Stage will highlight acoustic performances by Penny Skolski, Erin McCallum and Teddy Leonard, Jesse Greene, Mark “Bird”Stafford, Kalia, and Crossfield Bend. Also happening on the World stage Sunday, the Mississauga Music Walk of Fame Induction Ceremony, where Donna Grantis and legendary rock trio Triumph will be honoured. Triumph will also receive the first-ever ICON Award, celebrating their 50th anniversary!

Tim Hortons Southside Shuffle general admission tickets are $30 Friday, $40 Saturday and $30 Sunday, or $80 for a weekend pass, or $140 for the exclusive Bourbon Street Tent experience.
