I am a part of it all. Let me take part in doing good deeds. Let me make connections with good people. Let me share in all good things. How wonderful life is when I can share in all of these!
In reality, there is nothing in this world that we do not share. We are part of the earth, our nation, mountains, rivers, parks, roads, and even the airports and harbors. Even though I cannot afford to share in the building you built, I can still use its archway as a shelter from the rain. I can shop at the department store you own. I can work in the factory you operate. I can enjoy the beauty of flowers and trees you planted. I can share in your family celebrations. I am a part of everything!
When you open a bank, I can have a savings account there. If you publish a newspaper, I can be your subscriber. If you make air-conditioners, refrigerators, or engines, my life can be more comfortable. If you were a car dealer, I could buy a car from you and travel anywhere at will.
If you write a book, I can be your reader. If you give a speech, I can be your audience. Moreover, there are things I can share in nature: luminous moonlight, soft breezes, high mountains, and flowing rivers. None of the fortune and infrastructure of this world needs to be mine, but I can appreciate them all the same. No one can take the enjoyment away from me.
Therefore, as long as we want to, we can be a part of anything in this world and not be lacking in any way.
We have to improve environmental protection and preserve the ecosystem because it is our earth, and we are part of it. This is my country, and 1 am willing to sacrifice for it. Since I have made my contribution, if others transgress my country’s rights, I am willing to defend it with my life when necessary. The family is mine and so is the community. All people are my siblings and I, therefore, view them as wonderful. I cannot love them enough. How is it possible for me to harm? Chinese people are often characterized by the phrase, “Survival is wished when it comes to our loved ones and death is wished when it comes to people we hate.” I will protect anything that I am a part of, and I will look after it. On the contrary, whatever that is not mine, no matter how wonderful it might be, I will rather destroy it. Regardless of how unworthy my children are, I will still do my best to teach them well. No matter how dirty or ugly my pets are, they are mine and I will care for them! I am a part of them; they are a part of me. It is wonderful.
Therefore, we should see all humanity as our brothers and sisters.
The whole universe, heaven and earth, the sun and the moon, and mountains and rivers are mine. With such wealth, what is lacking? If we have a share in everything, there is no more discontent. When I am a part of all there is in the world, life is indeed beautiful!
